Jump on the boat for this once in a lifetime Snorkelling experience out to the beautiful Robberg Nature Reserve, where you get up close and personal with our local playful Cape Fur Seals.
Seal snorkel is safe for children from 6 years and elders giving the whole family this wonderful opportunity to bond with the interactive Seals in their natural environment.
WHERE TO MEET:
Please drive straight to the Beacon Island Resort Main Entrance. Park outstide and follow our signs on the walkway to the left of the Boom Gate. If you need any further directions please ask the security. (We are INSIDE the Beacon Isle Hotel complex, next to the volleyball courts).
DURATION & WHAT TO EXPECT:
1 ½ hours
You will be met on arrival by our experienced seal guide who will sign you in and assist with fitting your snorkel gear (changing rooms and lockers are available on site). Once every-one has geared up, the group will take a short stroll on the beach to the boat where you be given a briefing by the skipper and seal guide on boat procedures and the seal snorkelling experience, before embarking on a short boat ride to Robberg Nature Reserve. You will then get to jump into the water with your guide for an exhilarating 30 minute snorkel experience with the seals. On arrival back at Pro Dive our facilities include changing rooms and shower facilities where can freshen up after your once in a life time marine animal encounter.

Really fantastic experience and opportunity of a life time to swim and watch the seals. Ash, our guide was great and patient. No need to worry about taking a camera, just enjoy the experience as photos are taken on the trip. The water is a tad choppy / currents strong and Im not the strongest swimmer and I was well taken care of! Option of using a float. In fact, it was best just to float around and the seals come and investigate you! On our day, the water visibility was low due to the recent rains, but on snorkelling could still see the seals swimming around me. Amazing to be so close! - Maleene
Es war ein toller Ausflug. Als wir aus der Bucht fuhren, haben wir schon einen Wal gesehen. Nach ca 10-15 Minuten Bootsfahrt waren wir dann bei den Seehunden. Wir haben viel interessantes uber diese Tiere erfahren und waren ihnen beim schnorcheln sehr nah. Ein tolles Erlebnis, das wir vorher so noch nicht kannten. - Ines
