For those of you in the family who do not wish to snorkel but do not want to miss out on this exciting boat ride out to the beautiful Robberg Nature Reserve to view the seals, you can accompany your family & friends on our boat.
You will be met on arrival at the dive centre to sign in before taking a short stroll on the beach to the boat & experience a true Plett-style beach launch. Once out at Robberg you will be able to observe a variety of Nature in & out of the water, including the largest flock of Cape Cormorants & the ever so elegant Cape Gannet, not forgetting our amazing Cape Sea Fur Seals interacting with the snorkelers. You might even be lucky enough to see the whales & dolphins that frequently visit the bay.
WHERE TO MEET:
Please drive straight to the Beacon Island Hotel Main Entrance. Park outside & follow our signs on the walkway to the left of the boom gate. We are INSIDE the Beacon Island Hotel complex, next to the volleyball courts. If you need any further directions please ask the security.
MEETING TIME:
The time advertised is the launch time, please meet at our dive centre no later than 30 minutes before the time.

It was really an incredibly nice trip :) The booking online was not a problem at all and even before that you received a quick feedback by mail. On that day you received a good briefing and all the necessary clothes. By boat it takes about 10 minutes to get to the seals. Since it is a protected area, you have 30 minutes time with the animals. There's plenty of time and it's really fun. The seals were super curious and we had a really great time. I would like to book it again immediately. I can only recommend it. - Stephanie
